Maple Lake is a Forest Service campground in the Spanish Fork Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It sits within the national forest's boundaries, and the Forest Service manages the land. The site is simple, with vault toilets as the only listed amenity. A fee is charged for recreation here. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Santaquin show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 78°F, while July averages about 90°F and winter brings highs in the upper 30s and a few snowy days each month. Several other spots are close by. The Red Lake and Maple Lake Rim hikes start within a quarter mile, and the Maple Bench campground is about half a mile away. Payson Lakes campground lies roughly 3.4 miles off.
