Maple Bench is a Forest Service campground in the Spanish Fork Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It sits among a cluster of recreation sites, with Maple Lake and the Maple Lake Rim hike just a short distance away. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for use. Summer is the warmest stretch, with typical July highs around 90°F and lows near 62°F, while September cools to typical highs in the upper 70s. These are typical averages from a nearby weather station at Santaquin, which sits about 830 feet lower than the campground, so temperatures here run a little cooler. Maple Lake is about half a mile away, and the Red Lake hike is also about half a mile off. Payson Lakes campground is roughly 3.7 miles away, and the Santaquin Canyon climbing area is about 4.3 miles away.
