Loop Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Salt Lake Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It sits in a cluster of trails and climbing areas on the forest's east side, about half a mile from Upper Narrows Campground and the South Narrows and North Narrows climbing areas. Vault toilets are the only facility on site. A fee is charged for stays. For the most comfortable weather, plan for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Johnson Pass show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 77°F, while July averages climb to about 91°F and January highs sit near 39°F. Several places sit within a mile of the campground. Mill Fork Canyon is about 0.4 miles away, Mining Fork is about 0.6 miles away, and the North Narrows and South Narrows climbing areas are each about half a mile off.
