Boy Scout Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Salt Lake Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It sits within the national forest's boundaries, and the Forest Service manages the land. A fee is charged for stays here. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Johnson Pass show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 77°F, while July averages climb to about 91°F. The campground makes an easy base for exploring the surrounding trails and climbing areas. The Stansbury Front Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Fern's Ledge and Lower Narrows climbing areas are each about 0.3 mile off. Intake Campground is about half a mile away.
