Stone Door is a climbing area within Savage Gulf State Park in Tennessee, about 2.4 miles from the town of Beersheba Springs. It sits among a cluster of trails, with the Stone Door Trail about a mile away and the Big Creek Gulf Trail and Ranger Falls Trail each about half a mile off. The area has nine routes, seven of which are traditional and two mixed. Grades run from 5.5 to 5.11 on the YDS scale, with The Nose and Chimney at 5.5 and Rude Awakenings at 5.11. Monster Movie is a mixed route at 5.8. Fall is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Coalmont show October highs around 68°F with lows near 43°F, and September and October bring the fewest wet days of the year. Paddlers can find Big Creek about 1.7 miles away and the Collins River about 2.9 miles away.
