The Left Bunker is a climbing area in Tennessee's South Cumberland, a cluster of crags and routes that sit close together. The Right Bunker and The Dihedrals are each about 0.1 mile away, and Crime Buttress is just as near, so the Left Bunker fits into a small, compact network of climbing spots. The area is best suited to sport climbers, with eight sport routes and one trad route among the nine listed. Grades run from 5.8 up to 5.13c/d, with the hardest routes including Squeeze the Trigga at 5.13a and The Big, Empty Eclipse of the Bum Beast at 5.13c/d. Dirty Corner is the only trad route, at 5.8. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from the nearby Monteagle weather station show May highs around 74°F and October highs around 68°F, with September and October seeing the fewest wet days of the year. The Fiery Gizzard Trail is about 0.4 mile away, and Big Fiery Gizzard Creek offers canoeing about 3 miles off. Raven Point Trail and Dog Hole Trail are both within about 4.5 miles.
