The Red Light District is a climbing area in Tennessee's South Cumberland, a cluster of crags and routes that sit within a few tenths of a mile of one another. It is a compact, high-grade destination, with sport routes ranging from 5.8 to 5.13b and a few trad and mixed options in the mix. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically September and October, when typical averages from the nearby Monteagle weather station run from highs around 78°F to 68°F and see the fewest wet days of the year. Spring is similar, with May highs near 74°F. The area is packed with climbing close by. Music City/The 5.9 Area is just 0.1 mile away, and Rocket Slab and Wall of Useless Conflict are each about 0.2 mile off. The Fiery Gizzard Trail is 0.7 mile away for a walk between sessions.
