South Chickamauga Creek Greenway is a short, easy hike in Tennessee, set within the Tennessee Riverwalk on land managed jointly. The route is about 0.76 miles long, and the round trip adds up to roughly 1.5 miles with a total elevation gain of about 94 feet. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 3% grade near the start. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Chattanooga show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar at about 74°F by day and 50°F at night.
