Pyramid Boulder is a bouldering area in Rhode Island, about 2.6 miles from the town of Escoheag. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with the Valley of Kings (Pyramid Area) and Treasure Trove both about 0.1 mile away, and Tinder Boulder just as close. The nearby Tippecansett trail is about half a mile off, so it pairs easily with a short walk. The area has seven bouldering routes, all rated between V0+ and V3 on the V scale, and every one of them is a boulder problem. Tomb Raider is the hardest at V3, and Pyramid Steam is V2-. The route list includes names like Sphinx and Selfie Steam, with Bernie Madoff and Dirty Laundering at the easiest end. The warmest stretch is late spring through early fall, with typical September highs around 74°F and lows near 54°F, based on averages from a nearby weather station. That station sits about 13 miles away and at a similar elevation, so the temperatures at Pyramid Boulder should run much like those figures.
