Tinder Boulder is a bouldering area in Rhode Island, about 2.7 miles from the town of Escoheag. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Treasure Trove and Pyramid Boulder each about 0.1 mile away, and the Valley of Kings (Pyramid Area) just as close. The area is a compact, boulder-focused destination rather than a long hike or a high climb. The boulders here are all rated on the V scale, with six routes in total. The easiest are Swipe Left and Swipe Right at V1, and the hardest is Forever Alone at V6-. The other routes run from V2 to V3, so climbers can choose between easy problems and a challenge at the upper end of the scale. For a change from bouldering, the Tippecansett trail and the Deep Pond connector trail are both about 0.4 mile away. The Wood River, a fishing spot, is about 3.6 miles off, and Breakheart Pond is about 4.6 miles away.
