Lookout Boulders is a bouldering area in Rhode Island, about 2.4 miles from the town of Escoheag. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Farewell Boulder and The New Beach each about 0.1 mile away and Beached Whale about 0.2 mile off. The New Beach and Tippecansett trail are both within half a mile, so it's easy to pair a bouldering session with a short walk. The area has nine bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale from V0 to V5. The easiest are Dinglehopper at V0 and Flotsam at V1, while Poor Unfortunate Souls is the hardest at V5. The median grade is V2, so climbers of all levels can find something to work on here. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the best bets. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Coventry run to highs around 71°F in May and 74°F in September, with July the warmest month at about 85°F.
