The New Beach is a bouldering area in Rhode Island, about 2.3 miles from the town of Escoheag. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Farewell Boulder and Lookout Boulders each about 0.1 mile away and Jungle Pond about 0.2 mile off. The area is a compact, close-together set of boulders rather than a single route, and it works well as a short stop for climbers who want to move between several small crags in one visit. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 16 routes spread across the area. Grades run from V0 to V7, with the median around V2+. A few of the named routes include A Hop and a Skip at V0, Coconut Traverse at V1+, and Ninja Skills at V7, which was first climbed by Sean Gilman. For a change from the rocks, the Deep Pond trail and Tippecansett trail are both about half a mile away. Farther out, the Wood River offers river fishing about 3.7 miles off, and Breakheart Pond is a lake fishing spot about 4.5 miles away.
