The Marsupials is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in the Prineville Deschutes Field Office in central Oregon. It sits among several other climbing areas, with Mud Pile, North Face and Brogan Spire all about 0.1 mile away, so it works well as part of a day spent exploring the cluster. The area has seven routes, six of them sport and one trad, with grades ranging from 5.4 to 5.11d. The hardest is Airstream at 5.11d, and the easiest is Southwest side at 5.4. Delirium Tremens is the trad route at 5.10a/b, and it was first climbed by Dave Jenson in 1970. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Redmond show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 79°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s. Canyon Trail and Homestead Trail are both about 0.7 mile away for a walk, and Skull Hollow campground is about 3.6 miles off.
