East Side is a climbing area in Oregon, about 2.6 miles from the town of Terrebonne. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Catwalk Cliff and Windfall Wall each about 0.1 mile away, and Shakespeare Cliff also close by. The routes here are all trad, with eight listed in total, and they range from 5.7 to 5.10b. Among them are Runt's Grunt at 5.7, Detroit Rock City at 5.9, and Chicago Love Affair at 5.10b. First ascents for Detroit Rock City and Chicago Love Affair are both attributed to Mark Deffenbaugh and others in 2004. Summer is the warmest stretch, with typical July highs around 88°F and lows near 48°F, while winter months see highs in the low 40s. These are typical averages from a nearby weather station at Redmond. For a walk, Canyon Trail is 0.4 mile away and Homestead Trail is 0.5 mile away. Skull Hollow campground lies about 3.8 miles off.
