The boulders run from about V0+ to V4 on the V scale, with the sport route rated 5.5 on the YDS scale. The bouldering here is centered on a cluster of problems rather than a single route. Dirty Pocket is the easiest at V0+, and Schnitzel is the hardest at V4. The Bus Traverse is a V3- that adds a touch of movement. The area also includes a sport route, which is the only one of its type in the set. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Turner Creek and the North Yamhill River are both within about 3 miles, and Haskins Creek and the Tualatin River are a little farther out. For hiking, Hagg Lake Trail lies about 8 miles away.
