g. Far East Wall is a climbing area in Oregon's Rocky Butte Natural Area, a city-managed natural area. It sits among a cluster of named climbing spots, with f. Wizard Wall and h. Warrior Wall each about 0.1 mile away. The area has eight routes, with grades ranging from 5.9 to 5.11b. Four are top rope, three are sport, and one is trad. Among the named routes are Great Wall of China and Tigers Eye, both top rope at 5.10b, and Secret Maze, a sport route at 5.11b. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 82°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on 20 days a month. Nearby, Fenceline Trail is about a mile away and Wheels to Wings Trail about 2.4 miles. For paddling, Beaver Creek is roughly 9 miles off.
