Highball Wall is a bouldering area in Joseph Wood Hill Park, a city-managed park in Oregon. It sits among several other climbing spots in the park, including m. Joseph Wood Hill Park and c. Silver Bullet Bluff, both within a quarter mile, and Rocky Butte about 0.3 miles away. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes ranging from V1 to V4. The easiest are Addon and Head Space at V1, and the hardest is Macro Ledge Micro Crimp at V4. The routes are listed as bouldering, so they are short, crag-based problems rather than longer climbs. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 82°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days. That station sits about 550 feet lower than the park, so temperatures on the boulders run a little cooler. The Fenceline Trail is a hike about 0.7 miles away, and the Wheels to Wings Trail is about 2.7 miles off. Paddlers can find Beaver Creek about 9 miles away.
