Menagerie Wilderness is a designated wilderness area in the Sweet Home Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It sits within the broader Menagerie Wilderness, and the surrounding land is part of the national forest's network of protected backcountry. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 83°F with only about four wet days, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on more than half the days. Lower Menagerie, a climbing area, lies about a mile away, and Rooster Rock is a hike at a similar distance. Fernview Campground is roughly 1.8 miles off, and paddlers can head to Soda Fork, about 2.4 miles away.
