Log Wall is a sport climbing area in the Tiller Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. It sits close to two other climbing areas, Sun Dragon Block and Leaning Block, both about 0.1 mile away, which makes it easy to link routes in the same outing. The area has five sport routes, all rated between 5.10c and 5.12a on the YDS scale. Among them are Red Ball Express at 5.10c, Slow Fox Running at 5.11b, and Gray Ghost at 5.12a, the hardest of the bunch. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from the nearby Sexton Summit weather station, about 25 miles away, put July and August highs near 77°F with only about two wet days a month, while winter months see highs in the low 40s and rain on more than half the days. The station sits at a similar elevation to the climbing area, so its figures are a fair guide to conditions here. Threehorn Campground is 3.8 miles away, and Trail Creek offers canoeing about 5 miles off. Cow Creek Falls and Devils Flat Campground are both a little under 7.5 miles away.
