North Ridge Extension Trail is a mountain biking route in the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA of Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 1.9 miles long and rated moderate, with a one-way climb of 546 feet. The full out-and-back trip covers about 3.8 miles, with a total elevation gain and loss of roughly 1,092 feet each way, starting at about 1,282 feet and reaching a high of about 1,787 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs around 82 to 83°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the ridge run cooler. Ouch and Mohawk are both hikes about a mile away. Marys Peak Campground and the Marys Peak climbing area are each about 3 miles off.
