Lunch Counter is a mountain biking climb in Oregon, about 3.5 miles from the town of Keas Corner. The route is an out-and-back that covers roughly 1.8 miles, with the high point reaching about 1,823 feet and the low point near 1,590 feet. The climb is rated easy, and the total elevation gain for the round trip is about 638 feet. The steepest stretch comes around the 0.8-mile mark, with a grade of about 15%. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs in the low to mid 80s with only about three wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days. That station sits well below the climb, so expect cooler temperatures on the route. Several other rides and walks are close by. Lookout Saddle Tie and D'yer Mak'er are both hikes within a mile, and the Trail of Woe is about a mile away for more mountain biking. Soap Creek, a canoeing spot, lies about 5.6 miles off.
