Glide Path is an easy out-and-back hike in Oregon, about 3 miles from the town of Lewisburg. The route is roughly 1.7 miles long, with a total elevation gain of about 560 feet. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at the start, where the grade reaches about 22 percent. The trail rises from a low point of about 640 feet to a high of about 1,240 feet before returning to the starting point. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs in the low 80s with only about three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the path run cooler. Ridge Walker is a hike just 0.3 miles away, and Firehouse Trail and Connectome are mountain biking routes within a mile. Old Growth Trail is about a mile off.
