Funnel Cake is a mountain biking route in Oregon's Philomath Unit, about half a mile from the town of Philomath. It's a short, out-and-back ride of under a mile, with a total climb of about 987 feet, so the one-way gain is roughly 479 feet. The route starts at a low point of about 591 feet and reaches a high of about 1,098 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs in the low 80s with only about three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Several other rides sit within a short distance. Shave & A Haircut and Innuendo are each about half a mile away, and Poison Drunk is about 0.7 miles off. For a change of pace, the Baker Creek Upper hike is about 0.6 miles away.
