Three Creek Loop is a hard out-and-back hike in Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, within the Sisters Ranger District. The route is about 11 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 2,341 feet, and it reaches a high point of 6,073 feet. The climb is steady, and the steepest stretch comes early, around 0.7 miles in, with a grade of about 20 percent. The trail starts at roughly 5,156 feet and ends at a similar elevation, so the round trip involves about 2,341 feet of climbing and the same amount of descent. Plan on about five hours for the hike. The loop sits close to several other destinations. Three Creeks Meadow Campground is about 1.6 miles away, and Three Creeks Meadow Horse Camp is about 2.1 miles away. The Peak View Snowshoe cross-country ski route is about half a mile off, and the Three Sisters Wilderness climbing area lies about 6.5 miles away.
