Peterson Ridge Tie is a 6.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Sisters Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated hard, with a total climb of 733 feet and a steepest stretch of about 7% at 2.2 miles. The route starts near 3,848 feet and reaches a high point of about 4,223 feet. It is a natural-surface trail, and both horses and bikes are allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the Sisters weather station, about 4.5 miles away, show July highs around 86°F with lows near 43°F, while winter highs stay in the low 40s.
