Santiam Wagon Road Trail #3413 is a hard out-and-back hike of about 13 miles on the Forest Service's Sweet Home Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest in Oregon. The trail starts at the Santiam Wagon Road (Latiwi Creek Road) Trailhead, and the route climbs steeply from the beginning, with the steepest stretch at about 0.23 miles in, where the grade reaches 27%. The climb totals about 3,500 feet, with the high point at 4,115 feet, and the trail returns to the starting elevation. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Santiam Junction weather station, about 15 miles away, show July and August highs around 76°F with lows near 42°F. Winter is cold, with typical January highs in the upper 30s. House Rock Campground and the House Rock Loop are about 0.8 miles away. Sheep Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2.1 miles off, and Fernview campground is about 3.5 miles away.
