Rock Creek 905 is a moderate hike of about 5 miles in the Barlow Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is natural-surfaced and shaped as an out-and-back, with the high point at about 4,570 feet and the low point at about 3,645 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.5 miles in, with a grade of about 14 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. Several other Rock Creek hikes sit close by, including Rock Creek 907 about 0.8 miles away and Rock Creek 901 and 903 each about a mile off. Boulder Lake campground is about 2.5 miles away.
