Rinse and Repeat is a short, easy hike in L.L. "Stub" Stewart State Park, Oregon, on city-managed land. The route is 0.68 miles long and rises about 446 feet from the low point at 1,151 feet to the high point at 1,367 feet before returning, with the steepest stretch at about 14% grade near the start. The place name is a playful one for a hike that's short enough to fit in before or after exploring the park's other trails. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the Vernonia weather station, about 8.5 miles away, show July and August highs in the upper 70s and only four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and around 20 wet days a month. That station sits roughly 740 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on this hike run cooler. Drip Torch Trail is just 0.1 mile away, and the Greenhorn Trail (upper) and Railyard mountain biking routes are similarly close. For paddling, the Nehalem River is about 7 miles off.
