The Banks-Vernonia Trail is a scenic point-to-point route that traverses the rolling terrain of northwest Oregon, connecting the small towns of Banks and Vernonia. This former railroad corridor has been converted into a popular recreational trail, offering a relatively gentle grade perfect for hiking, biking, and walking. The trail winds through mixed forest and open areas, providing a pleasant day hike or bike ride through the Willamette Valley foothills.
