Ramble On is a 4.7-mile out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest, in central Oregon. It is a moderate trail with an elevation gain of 470 feet, rising from a low point of about 6,489 feet to a high of about 6,860 feet. The trail is natural-surface and carries a steady climb, with the steepest stretch at about 2.1 miles in, where the grade reaches 17%. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year-round. It is a natural-surface route and allows both horses and bikes, so it works well for riders and pack animals. The climb is steady, and the trail's moderate grade makes it a good choice for a day on foot, horseback or mountain bike. Broken Top lies about 1.5 miles away, and Swampy Lakes Trail #23 and the Metolius-Windigo Trail #99 are both about 1.9 miles off. Three Creeks Lake Campground is about 3.4 miles away.
