Pond Trail is a short, easy loop hike of about half a mile on the E.E. Wilson Wildlife Area in Oregon, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. The route is nearly flat, with a high point of 309 feet and a low of 298 feet, and it has no elevation gain. The trail is a simple outing that pairs well with other paths in the area. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs in the low 80s with only about three wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the upper 40s and rain on most days. Several trails sit close by. Calloway Creek Trail, a mountain biking route, is about 0.2 miles away, and the Calloway Creek Community Trail and Santiam Christian Recreation Trail are both within half a mile. Soap Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2.6 miles off.
