Pine Creek Trail is a 1.9-mile point-to-point hike in Oregon's Badger Creek Wilderness, within the Barlow Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail rises from about 3,970 feet to 5,228 feet, a steady climb of 1,294 feet with a total descent of 269 feet. The route is rated easy, and horses are allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Government Camp show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. That station sits roughly 1,200 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. Post Camp and Mud Spring Trail #466A both lie about 0.8 miles away. Badger Lake campground is 2.8 miles off, and Boulder Lake campground is 3.6 miles away.
