Little Crater Loop is a 3-mile moderate hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is a natural-surface route with a total elevation gain of 420 feet and a total loss of 510 feet over its length. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.7 miles in, where the grade reaches 18 percent. The trail starts at about 6,356 feet and climbs to a high point of 6,736 feet before descending. Bikes and horses are not allowed on this route. Several other destinations sit within a short distance. Paulina Lakeshore Trail #3955 and the Silica trail are each about 0.1 mile away, and Little Crater campground is also about 0.1 mile off. Newberry Group campground is about 0.6 mile away.
