Ladee 801A is a short, easy hike in the Clackamas River Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 2 miles long and is an out-and-back route, with the high point at 2,179 feet and the low at 2,057 feet. The climb is gentle, with a total gain of about 211 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.76 miles in. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Three Lynx, which sits roughly 1,059 feet lower, show July and August highs in the upper 70s with only four or five wet days a month. Winter is much wetter, with 20 or more wet days a month from November through March. Ladee 801 is about 0.7 miles away, and Ladee 803 is about 1.2 miles away.
