Fish Creek Connect SNOMO is an easy out-and-back hike in Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, within the Diamond Lake Ranger District. The trail is about 3.5 miles long, and it rises and falls roughly 960 feet over the course of the round trip, with the high point at 5,952 feet and the low at 5,335 feet. The route is rolling rather than steep, and the steepest stretch comes early, at about 16% grade around 0.22 miles from the start. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Crater Lake show July and August highs around 69°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months see highs in the low 30s and rain on 17 to 18 days a month. The hike takes about 1.5 hours. Garwood Butte lies about a mile away, and Skookum Creek Connect SNOMO and Three Lakes SNOMO are both within about 2 miles. Thielsen View Campground is roughly 6.8 miles off.
