Chush Falls is an easy, 2.8-mile out-and-back hike in Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, within the Sisters Ranger District. It starts at the Chush Falls Trailhead and rises about 175 feet from the trailhead's starting point, with the trail's highest point at 4,831 feet. The route is short and gentle. It goes out and back along a natural surface, with the steepest stretch at about 0.95 miles in. The Forest Service manages the land, and horses are allowed, but bikes are not. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sunriver show July highs around 84°F with lows near 41°F, while winter highs sit in the 30s and 40s. The trail is open year-round, and the hike takes about an hour. Three Creeks Meadow Campground is about 2.9 miles away, and the Three Creek Loop and Pole Creek hikes are both within about 2 miles.
