Azelea Lake is a 2.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Powers Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests in Oregon, about 5 miles from the community of Illahe. The trail climbs from 1,181 feet to 2,166 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,192 feet over the round trip. The steepest stretch comes at about mile 1, where the grade reaches 28 percent. The route is rated hard, and the Forest Service lists it as a natural-surface trail that allows horses but not bikes. It is not accessible. The trail is open from June 1 through October 31, and the trip takes about two hours. Rock Creek campground sits about a mile away, and Island Camp is roughly 2.6 miles off. Daphne Grove and the Wild Rogue Loop are both about 2.7 miles from the trail.
