Strawberry Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Prairie City Ranger District of Malheur National Forest in Oregon. It sits within the national forest's boundaries, and the nearest town is Prairie City. The site is a simple base for exploring the surrounding trails. Vault toilets are the only facility listed, and a fee is charged for camping here. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Seneca show July and August highs around 82°F with only three or four wet days a month, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. The Strawberry Basin Trail #375 starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Slide Basin Trail #372 and Tie-In Trail #5006 are both within a mile. Slide Creek campground is about 1.7 miles off.
