Big Creek Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Prairie City Ranger District of Malheur National Forest in Oregon. It sits within the forest's ranger district, and the land is managed by the Forest Service. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Seneca show July and August highs around 82°F with only three or four wet days a month, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s and lows drop to about 11°F. Several other spots lie within a short drive. Lake Creek, a canoeing destination, is about 3.3 miles away, and the Murray campground is about 3.4 miles off. The Skyline Trail #385 and Snowshoe Trail #380 are both within about 4 miles.
