Salmon Creek Falls is a Forest Service campground in the Middle Fork Ranger District of Oregon's Willamette National Forest. It sits about 3.8 miles from the Oakridge Fish Hatchery weather station, which makes its typical averages a useful guide to conditions here. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. July and August typically bring highs around 80°F and only two or three wet days a month, while winter months see highs in the low 40s and rain on more than half the days. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. Two hikes start close by: Salmon Creek is about 0.2 miles away and South Salmon Creek about 0.6 miles. For more camping, Blue Pool Campground (Middle Fork Ranger District) and Packard Creek are both about 5.2 miles off.
