Jackson F. Kimball Campground is a city-managed campground within Jackson F. Kimball State Recreation Site in Oregon, about 2.5 miles from the Chiloquin 12 NW weather station. The site is part of city land, and a fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby weather station show July highs around 85°F with lows near 42°F and only about three wet days in the month. Winter brings highs near 39°F and several snowy days a month from December through February. Nearby options include Annie Creek Sno-Park, about 4.4 miles away, and the Cedar Spring Loop and Dry Creek Loop hikes, both roughly 5.6 miles off. Climbers can head to the Williamson River Cliffs, about 8.3 miles away.
