Dairy Point Campground is a Forest Service site in the Paisley Ranger District of Oregon's Fremont-Winema National Forest. It sits in the forest's interior, and the nearest town is Happy Camp, about 2 miles away. The site has vault toilets, and no fees are required to use it. That makes it a simple, low-cost base for an overnight stay in the district. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Bly show July and August highs around 86°F with only two or three wet days a month, while winter highs sit in the low 40s. Other campgrounds within a few miles include Happy Camp and Clear Spring. The Cache Cabin Trail and the Chewaucan River, a canoeing route, are also close by.
