Copper Creek Campground is a Bureau of Land Management campground in Oregon's Vale Baker Field Office, managed by the BLM. It sits on federal land within the Vale Baker Field Office, and the nearest town is on the Idaho side of the canyon, where Hells Canyon Reservoir Trail starts just 0.1 mile away. Summer brings the warmest weather, with typical July highs around 95°F and lows near 64°F at the nearby Brownlee Dam weather station. September is milder, with typical highs around 83°F and lows around 55°F. Winters are cold, with typical January highs near 39°F.
