Hull Area is a bouldering area in North Carolina, about a mile from the town of Quail Ridge. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with Tail of the Cat Area, Flakeview Area and Screamweaver Area all within about a third of a mile. The area is known for its bouldering, with 15 routes spread across the boulder style, ranging from V2 to V10. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 75°F in May to about 78°F in September, with lows in the 50s. Several other climbing areas and trails lie close by. Rumbling Bald Loop and Party Rock Trail are both under a mile away, and Lake Lure is about 1.6 miles off. Paddlers can reach the Broad River, roughly 3.3 miles away.
