Cove Boulders is a bouldering area in New York, set within Rogers Rock Campground on land managed by the State Department of Conservation. It sits right next to the Rogers Rock climbing area, about a tenth of a mile away, and the Rogers Slide climbing area is roughly 0.3 miles off, making it easy to pair with those spots in one visit. The bouldering here is all on the V scale, with five routes ranging from V1-2 up to V5. The most common grades are V4-5, and the hardest is V5 on the route named Satan Slab. The other routes are listed as Unknown, Unknown 2 and Unknown 3, with grades from V2 to V4+. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Cornwall, Vermont, show July highs around 80°F with lows near 60°F, while winter brings highs in the 20s and regular snow days from December through February. Cook Mountain is about 2.3 miles away for a hike, and the Blue Trail is about 2.7 miles off. Paddlers can head to La Chute, about 3.6 miles away, and the Devil's Washdish climbing area is roughly 7 miles from the boulders.
