Yang is a short mountain biking ride on county land in Westchester, New York, about a third of a mile from the Bailey's, Yin and Crossover trails. The route is an out-and-back with a back-loaded climb profile, rising from 275 feet to 319 feet and then descending back. It totals about 0.8 miles, with roughly 108 feet of gain and loss in total, and the steepest section comes at about 0.13 miles, where the grade reaches about 4%. The trail is rated moderate. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall stand out. Typical averages from the Shrub Oak weather station, about 5.7 miles away, run to highs near 71°F in May and 75°F in September, while July averages reach the low 80s. Several other rides sit about a tenth of a mile away, including Bailey's and Limbo. Blue Mountain Park and Rocky Glen Pond, both climbing areas, are about 0.6 miles off, and the Croton River offers canoeing roughly 5 miles away.
