W Trail is a short, easy mountain biking route in the Town of Yorktown Parkland, on city-managed land in New York. The trail is an out-and-back that covers about 0.2 miles, with a total climb of 25 feet. It's a flat ride, and the steepest part comes at about 0.05 miles in, with a grade of about 4 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Shrub Oak show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 75°F, while July averages about 84°F and January highs sit near 37°F.
