Yellow Trail (Lower Updraft) is a short, easy hike in Graham Hills County Park in New York, on county-managed land. The route is about 0.4 miles long and rises about 23 feet, making it a gentle out-and-back walk that takes roughly half an hour. The trail starts and ends around 455 feet and reaches about 495 feet at its highest point, with a total climb of 135 feet over the round trip. The steepest stretch is at about 0.33 miles, with a grade of about 4 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 69°F in May and 74°F in September, while July highs reach about 83°F. Mountain bikers will find the Blue Trail (Disneyland Spur) and White Trail about 0.1 mile away. Farther afield, the Bronx River offers canoeing about 5.3 miles off, and Armonk Cliffs is a climbing area about 5.4 miles away.
