Yellow Trail is a 1.4-mile moderate hike in Mine Kill State Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. The route rises from about 883 feet to about 1,115 feet, with the steepest stretch at roughly 0.23 miles in, where the grade reaches 19%. The climb is one way, and the trail is a point-to-point route rather than a loop. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Lansing Manor show May highs around 68°F and September highs around 73°F, with July the warmest month at about 81°F. The Red Trail lies about 0.4 miles away and the Orange Trail about 0.6 miles away. The Catskill Scenic Trail is about 5 miles off, and Schoharie Creek, a fishing spot, is about 8 miles away.
