Green Trail is a short, easy hike in Hart's Brook Nature Preserve and Arboretum, a state park managed by State Park and Recreation in New York. The trail is about half a mile long, with a total climb of about 35 feet, so it's a flat, low-effort outing. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Dobbs Ferry-Ardsley show May highs around 73°F and September highs around 77°F, with July the warmest month at about 86°F. Bikes are not allowed on this trail. The Red Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Orange and Yellow trails are each about 0.2 mile off. For something different, V.E. Macy Park, a climbing area, is about 2.3 miles away.
